SOLAR CONTROLLER LOGO PWM Solar control

System components
All system components

The Logo controller in the PWM version was developed as a control element for simple and complex solar systems, but thanks to its operating principle, which is based on the measurement of the source-receiver temperature, it can be used as a universal controller in heating systems.

This makes it possible to connect it to various heat sources and receivers, such as stoves, fireplaces or swimming pools. Thanks to the use of the PWM signal to control the pump, the device allows smooth regulation of its work and makes the system energy-saving by reducing the power consumption of the pump.

The controller is user-friendly, including through the use of a large graphic LCD display that allows clear and up-to-date monitoring of the operation of the entire system, as well as a well-thought-out and easy-to-understand user interface. The controller has a wide base of installation variants, so that adaptation to the customer's solar system is easy and quick in most cases. The built-in power supply backup system allows the device to save all settings even after a power failure, and the use of special algorithms for sampling and protecting the collector means that the system is free from potential failures and thus has a longer service life.

An innovative feature is the "ECO" option, which allows maximum use of solar radiation without unnecessary heating of the system water with electricity. The well-designed housing of the controller allows easy installation and connection of cables and provides protection against external damage. In addition, the controller can be installed in a compact pump group. When using a PWM controller, it is not necessary to adjust the flow rate, e.g. with a rotameter.

options and functions

  • the economical operation of the electric heating element,
  • Stepless pump control with PWM,
  • 3 PT 1000 sensor inputs,
  • Display of current measured values,
  • memory of the control settings,
  • reversible cooling function (holiday function),
  • 5 basic hydraulic variants to choose from,
  • Possibility to adjust the operation of the electric heating element,
  • the temperature sensor can be calibrated.

Possible Applications - Example Diagrams

The output of the controller OUT1 is intended for connecting the 230VAC power supply to pumps with PWM signal. The pump supplied by this output and controlled by PWM signal operates at adjustable speed. The output OUT2 is designed for connecting any 230VAC load with a maximum power of 120W. For loads with strong inductive properties, it is advisable to use an additional RC extinguishing system.
