The hydraulic separator is used to separate the heat source circuit and the heating circuit. It ensures that both circuits operate independently without the need to balance the currents.
The switch is empty inside, so that the flow is possible in all directions depending on the operating variant of the heating system. It also enables the heating medium to be flushed and vented.
