Pump groups
Solarstation
The GPS PWM GRUNDFOS pump group is equipped with an energy-efficient electronic pump UPM3 SOLAR 15-75. The GPS PWM ensures significantly lower power consumption than conventional pump groups with asynchronous pumps. The pump group meets the requirements of Commission Regulation (EU) No 622/2012 regarding ecodesign requirements for circulating pumps.
The pump has an efficiency of EEI ≤0.20. The flow rate is regulated depending on the flow temperature from the collector and the water temperature in the storage tank. This solution ensures maximum energy yield while at the same time ensuring a long service life for the solar collectors.
The pump group consists of the following elements:
- two ball shut-off valves with integrated check valves and thermometers,
- Circulation pump UPM3 SOLAR 15-75,
- Safety group with pressure gauge and 6 bar safety valve,
- Rotameter 2-12 l/min,
- air separator,
- Thermal insulation of the housing.
Energy yield combined with a long service life for the solar collectors. ¾" threaded connections enable quick installation with stainless steel corrugated pipes.
